Imagine a romantic wedding, in a beautiful setting, the sort of wedding dreams are made of!  When you choose to get married in northern Italy’s Lake District, your dreams become a reality. Palatial villas, rose-laden pathways, mountain vistas, together with sparkling or sometimes dramatic lake water all add up to create a stunning and relaxing atmosphere in which to celebrate your special day. Lake Garda is the largest, bluest and most visually romantic of all the northern Italian lakes. The fascinating mix of mountains and Mediterranean vegetation, the mild climate and clean fresh air have made it a thriving health and tourist centre, with still hidden and tranquil romantic quiet corners ! Malcesine is one of the most elegant and well-equipped holiday resorts on the lake. The pleasant ‘all year round’ mild climate permits walks and excursions in the hinterland and on Mount Baldo, which is known as ‘The Botanical Garden of Europe’ due to its wide variety of plant species.  Clustered around the foot of the the castle and the ‘Captain’s Palace’ the old town and port, with its bustling streets filled with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, has magical charm.  Here is the perfect spot for an Italian wedding, and honeymoon ! – Here you are just 30 minutes from Romeo and Juliet’s Verona and one hour and a half from magical Venice.  Civil wedding ceremonies can take place in the Castle of Malcesine, today a national monument, and with a history dating back to before the 6th century AD.

Located on the top of a hill in Malcesine, with a stunning view of the lake, this magnificent castle, with its Italianate garden, and simple white stone marriage hall, provides a beautiful location for your wedding photographs.

The room is suitable for both small and large events, and can be decorated with flowers following your personal taste and specifications. Any classical music is allowed. The best time for your wedding in Lake Garda is in the months between April to October
